Students will also need to have temporary basic private medical coverage during their MSP coverage waiting period. Therefore, once accepted into St. John’s Academy, students will be required to purchase private insurance with us.
All international students will be enrolled with JF Insurance upon entering St. John’s Academy.
How to make a claim- JF Insurance?
Students are more than welcome to come to see our Admin Assistant who will help the students put in a claim. However, families can do so directly with the easy steps outlined on their website.
Please refer to their website on how to make a claim directly.
After the three month waiting period, students will be enrolled in the school’s MSP plan.
What does MSP do?
MSP covers the cost of BASIC medical care in Canada. In most circumstances, you will not have to pay at the time of service if you have your MSP Health Services Card.
Please refer to MSP website for services that covered and those that are not.
